Hiromi Maekawa was born in Tokyo and from her childhood began singing in the choir of NHK (Japanese National TV) and as a soloist participated 3 times the European tour of the same NHK.
She graduated from the Toho Gakuen University in singing with full marks.
She worked for two years in the world of Japanese TV as a presenter and singer gaining popularity thanks to a program for the musical education of children.
She moves to Italy and carries out a busy concert schedule getting the Montecitorio Prize in 2007.
In 2001 she worked as an interpreter and costumer service of Santa Cecilia Orchestra conducted by Chong Fung Mung and in 2008 was chosen as an interpreter of Andrea Bocelli during his Asian tour.
In the same year she recorded her first album entitled "Zawawa" produced by Equal.
Since 2012 she teaches at the Civic Music School of Bracciano (introductory music, singing, modern singing and chorus)
In 2013 she recorded the ending theme of the Japanese film "Beauties À La Carte", shot in the brand new 8K format, which was in the Cannes Film Festival.
In 2017 she is invited 3 times as guest in the italian tv show EDICOLA FIORE and she was also on air on RAI Radio2
In September of the same year she appeared as a guest of the popular RAI 2 program I Fatti Vostri and the next day her performance also appears on RAI 3 Blob.
In 2018, she received the "Special Italy-Japan Relations Award" at the 23rd edition of the prestigious Premio Penisola Sorrentina, in Italy.
In 2019, she participated in the fiction "Volevo Fare La Rockstar" (Rai2) in the role of Yoko.
In 2020 she released with her "Trio Toucher" album entitled "Hyakunin Isshu" produced by Gallo in Switzerland.
